This growing city of just over 30,000 is located up the road from Prosper, about 13 miles north of Frisco and 17 miles northwest of McKinney. Celina is 33 miles, or 40 minutes north of Plano and 42 miles, or about 50 minutes north of Dallas. Celina is located in Denton and Collin counties. Major routes are Preston Road to the east and the future Dallas North Tollway to the west.
