Far North Dallas, Texas

Far North Dallas is unlike any other part of the city. Sandwiched between Addison and Richardson, north of Interstate 635 to President George Bush Turnpike and between the Dallas North Tollway and Hwy 75. Far North Dallas is rated the #1 place to live in the Dallas area. Even residents have trouble distinguishing the lines between Dallas proper and their suburban neighbors—especially since the school districts belong mostly to Richardson ISD. The schools, plus proximity to shopping centers and equidistant between downtown and Frisco, have recently attracted many young families with children.

Far North Dallas offers a suburban lifestyle with bigger homes and yards but within the larger City of Dallas. In addition, there is the advantage of a Dallas address while also able to send children to highly rated Richardson Independent School District or Plano Independent School District. There is to access to the entertainment in nearby Addison or a variety of ethnic cuisines available in Richardson. The current population is 165,800 with a median owner-occupied home value of $306,287.

As for finding other things to do, there are too many to list. You can get to both City of Dallas attractions and any activities just north in Collin County. It has the quickest access to almost every major Dallas highway within just a few miles. The highlight of this area is the Galleria Dallas, the mecca of shopping for everyone.
