Rockwall, only 25 miles outside Dallas city limits, is a moderately-sized city in Rockwall County with a population of 41,672. The northeast Dallas suburb made it into the top five in Money's list of Best Places to Live in America 2020. In rankings, Rockwall was No. 4, making its Money list debut based on its “status as one of the fastest-growing cities in one of the nation's fastest-growing states.”
